2007 40th Anniversary Shelby GT500
How would you like to have genuine Shelby produced GT500 Mustang? This car was upgraded at Shelby Automotive and has Carroll Shelby Motor number 07XL0260. This car can be upgraded further to have the 725hp performance at a fraction of the cost of the Super Snake. There are over a thousand Super Snakes roaming the streets today and expected to be several thousand more produced. There will not be over 300 of the 40th Anniversary cars built. This will be one the rarest Shelby Mustangs ever produced.
This car was ordered by myself with all options except for the navigation system. It came with Ford silver stripes rather than the white stripe kit. I had the car for 7 months before it was called to Shelby in Las Vegs, NV for the upgrade package conversion. The conversion includes several performance and appearance upgrades:
Eibach adjustable suspension, brake cooling ducts front and rear, 20 inch Shelby Razor wheels and Pirelli tires, carbon fiber rocker panels, mirror covers, and front spoiler, Borla exhaust system, lighted center gauge pod with Carroll Shelby carbon fiber gauges (boost, oil, and fuel pressure), and large front and rear sway bars, all add up to significant improvement in performance and handling for these exclusive muscle cars. It is a night and day difference from a stock GT500 after the conversion and will give the new owner the ride of a lifetime.
The appearance portion of the upgrade includes 40th Anniversary embroidered floor and trunk mats (worth about $1000 alone here on ebay), sequential tails lights, 40th Anniversary badging on front fenders and grille, aluminum hood inserts, Shelby trunk lettering kit, Shelby Satin Silver Stripes, center console embroidered lid/armrest, engine compartment kit including billet aluminum fluid caps and dipstick, and Shelby CSM numbered dash plaque, engine bay, and door sill plates.
This car has factory warranty remaining until June 2010 and can be extended with Ford factory service plan at any point should the new owner choose to do so. All service has been performed by Ford dealerships, and all recall or technical service bulletins have been completed.
