Shelby GT500 40th Anniversary Coupe – CSM No. 07XL0061
Offered for sale is an extremely rare 40th Anniversary
GT500 Coupe – CSM No. 07XL0061. The 40th Anniversary package was
only offered for the 2007 GT500 and Shelby Autos announced in 2007
that 500 of the 40th Anniversary packages would be sold. So far only
about 300 packages have been sold. This car will certainly be
a very rare car with high collectability. This car is an extremely low
mileage car with 83.5 miles and has been meticulously cared
for. It has always been garaged and has never even had a tag
installed on it. The plastic is still on the seats! This
car was purchased and upgraded with the 40th Anniversary package at Shelby Autos
in Las Vegas in Jan of 2008. The passenger air bag cover has Carroll
Shelby’s personal signature which will certainly add to its collectibility!
All documentation and records have been saved and maintained.
This vehicle came from the factory as a GT500 coupe
with premium interior. The car came with at 5.4 liter DOHC, 32 valce V8 engine
with 500 crank horse power and 480 ft lbs of torque. The engine is supercharged
with an Eaton roots supercharger and an air-to-water intercooler. The transmission
is a Tremec 6 speed. Front disc brakes are Brembo four piston with fourteen
inch rotors. The premium interior package includes the Shaker 1000 sound system,
power mirrors, power seats, power door locks, leather covered dash, steering
wheel and shift boot.
The only modifications to this car have been a 640HP upgrade (including pulley, cold air intake and tune), a Shelby windshield banner, 40th anniversary vinyl decals on the doors, fender stripes and a billet aluminum gas door. All of these modifications can be easily removed and returned to stock if desired. This is an exceptional vehicle for the serious collector. Serious inquiries only.
