Description
1967 Ford GT500 ELEANOR
A local company built this Eleanor clone and finished it early 2010. Car has 510 miles on it. The car began as a clean 67 fastback and was stripped down and put on the rotisserie, all the parts were ordered and the build began. A 351 windsor crate motor bored and stroked to a 393cid. Tremec 5 speed crate tranny, Ford 9″ 31 spline crate rear end, posi and trac loc. The suspension, Borla exhaust (side tips are not connected due to a big restraint in the exhaust flow) is installed with an electric dump. The interior is all new with Carroll Shelby signature seats and gauges, complete with a high end sound system and alarm.NOS (NITROUS) has been installed and has never been activated. We have over $70000 in receipts for parts, $20000 for paint and body, $6000 for stereo and then there is the initial car purchase, plus things done that the receipts were misplaced and the labor to build the car! A professional appraisal was done by Jerry Henderson of Auto Appraisals Professionals in Houston. The stated value is $159500 – $160000, a copy is available.
