I’m selling this car for my cousin. He built this car over the past year and has had a blast with it…but another project opportunity just came up and to finance it…this one must go!!

1931 CHEVY ALL STEEL RUST FREE BODY!!!!
4” CHOP
CHANNELED 3″ OVER FRAME
BODY IS BOLTED TO FRAME..BODY CAN BE REMOVED FROM FRAME
FRAME IS 2X3 X .250” WALL TUBING
SNAP ON/OFF MARINE GRADE MATERIAL ROOF COVER
3” PEEP MIRRORS
ALL WINDOWS BEHIND DRIVER ARE LEXAN (QUARTER AND REAR)
WINDSHIELD IS LAMINATED SAFETY GLASS
NO DOOR GLASS INSTALLED—HAVE WINDOW REGULATORS
DOOR HANDLES WORK (INSIDE AND OUT)
BODY IS PAINTED FLAT BLACK.
BODY IS VERY VERY SOLID…NEVER DID ANY BODY WORK TO GET CAR FLAWLESS/FLAT/SMOOTH…CAR HAS DINGS HERE AND THERE, GRINDER MARKS, WELDS…WOULDN’T TAKE MUCH FOR THE RIGHT BODYMAN TO MAKE THIS BODY PERFECT. THE BODY WAS PAINTED TO GIVE IT A REAL HOMEBUILT HOTROD FEEL..SO….NO BODYWORK WAS PERFORMED TO MAKE IT PERFECT…NOT THE LOOK WANTED FOR THE CAR
Front suspension is MUSTANG II with FATMAN polished Stainless steel upper and lower arms and tie rod ends, QA1 adjustable front coilover shocks w/adjustable damping. Drop spindles to get the car lower, Chrome steering rack, Mustang II brakes.
Steering is all DD steering shafts. Longest shaft is polished stainless steel while the shorter ones are standard steel.
Steering column is an IDIDIT..Tilt, hazard and turn signal switches built in.
Mahogany GRANT steering wheel.
REAR SUSPENSION: Carerra chrome coilover shocks, Chrome Speedway 32” radius rods and chrome panhard bar.
Rear axle is a Ford 8” with a polished finned rear cover attached.
Rear axle ratio is aprox 3.08:1 as determined by rotating pinion to tire turns.
Differential is non posi—it is a one legger..
but with the car being pretty light..it tends to light both tires up from the getgo!
Drum brakes with new shoes and cylinders
WHEELIE BARS CAN BE UNBOLTED IF SO DESIRED
CPP master cylinder that has a built in proportioning valve..car stops VERY WELL!!!
Engine is a Chevy 402 Big block that is bored .030 over. Domed pistons and ported oval port heads are giving aprox 9.5:1 compression ratio. Steel Crank.
A mild cam matched to work perfectly with the Edelbrock TR2 polished tunnel ram with Holley 450 Tunnel ram carbs!! This is a VERY STREETABLE engine combination that has plenty of power, idles flawlessly, doesn’t stall at stop lights!!!
Engine is being cooled by an Weiand polished aluminum water pump flowing thru a CUSTOM Griffin aluminum radiator to fit the 1931 Chevrolet grill shell (this was big $$$!) . A cooling components electric fan keeps the engine running at 170* all day long! Aluminum mechanical fuel pump feeds the carbs thru braided stainless steel lines and edelbrock fuel filter.
REAL “MOON” coolant recovery tank mounted in front of radiator
CAMSHAFT FRONT BUMPER.
Engine is FRESH…Has aprox 250 miles on it…(speedo was only recently hooked up)
Sprint car style headers w/ baffles installed make this engine very drivable without your ears ringing and calling attention to the “SOUND POLICE”
